I am a computer scientist (alumni Computer Science Department, University of Dortmund), book author (see German National Library), freelance journalist (mainly writing for iX) and lecturer (since 2002 at the DHBW), and I live in Hamburg, Germany.

I am known throughout the German-speaking region for being adept in XML, Cross media publishing and varieties, Web/Semantic Web/Ajax/Web 2.0, and worked successfully for many clients as an IT consultant before founding my company Linkwerk.com. Linkwerk offers consulting, software development, data conversion services, training and more.

Nowadays, almost all of my professional activities take place at Linkwerk.com. With the exception of my teaching, my writing and some of my consulting.
